Hello,and welcome to our new website! Please allow us to introduce ourselves. Ice Sensations is the industry leader for all of your Ice Sculpture needs. We are based in Charlotte, NC and available to do events anywhere in the southeast. "Make It Sensational" Not only our tagline but our mission statement. This is your event, We must hit a homerun each and every time, our commitment to this industry is unsurpassed with a history that reaches back over 25 years. Our studio houses state of the art equipment that no other company from D.C. to South Florida has, The state of the art CNC MACHINES and Lathes as well as a 25 year collection of chisels and hand tools offer an ability to produce what others can only dream of. The owner of our Wilmington location is the current VP of NICA (National Ice Carvers Assoc.) We have assisted in the opening of 8 ice sculpting businesses as well as held seminars for the annual NICA conventions. Our connections and friends in the industry insure that we can emulate almost any design you find from anywhere, We stock approx. 500 blocks of ice and we actually throw out more ice than our nearest competition can manufactor. What this means is that if a piece doesn’t meet our very high standard, it must be redone until it does. Someone working in their garage with limited production must sell each and every sculpture no matter how it looks. We hand carve many sculptures, Most sculptures are a combination of CNC carved and hand carved, We have the ability to use the BEST tool and BEST practice for each job.

Welcome to Ice Sensations

Let us introduce ourselves. Ice Sensations was born by the vision of Carolina's premiere ice sculptor, Gary A. Ross. We have been carving ice since 1987 and this year marks our 24th year of sharing this talent with the rest of you. Ice Sensations began in Charlotte, NC, but word of our genius has spread. We have dazzled people with this art now in seven states.

Ice Sensations is not only a supporter of NICA, National Ice Carving Association, we serve as a judge for their competitions as well. Also, for the new carvers who want to break into the business, we hold classes and seminars. In the last few years Gary Ross has started his own franchise; you can find Ice Sensations in eight locations throughout the south east. No one can touch our quality.

We have added additional machines to our already impressive plant and now our production facility produces over 5000 sculptures yearly.

No carving is too large or small. From sorbet dishes , table pieces, and stir sticks; to bars, walls, and abstract displays . We here at Ice Sensations love to make customized and unique designs.
